This past Saturday 7th September, 170 community members joined us at Hackney Chinese Community Services for our biggest event of the year: the EVR x OYS Community Care Retreat 2024, supported by aloe mental health.

It was so affirming to see so many incredible vendors, artists, creatives, advocates, foodies, and community members gathered in one place to celebrate East and South East Asian (ESEA) Heritage Month with us. It was a truly unadulterated kind of magic.

At EVR, we are proud to offer completely free mental health services to those with ESEA heritage in the UK. Our events throughout the year are an essential part of providing this support. Big or small, virtual or in-person, our events play a significant part in cultivating an strong sense of unity and resilience within our communities.
